Novels & Stories

My Young Adult paranormal romance novel DEMON KISSED is the first book in a new trilogy.

“The Valefar boy tricked Ivy Taylor into kissing him, but he took much more than a kiss – he stole her soul.”

Demon Kissed by H.M. Ward

The Valefar boy tricked Ivy Taylor into kissing him, but he took much more than a kiss – he stole her soul and left her within inches of death. By surviving, Ivy is drawn into the conflict between the Martis and the Valefar. The war between these two immortal forces has raged for millennia without distraction. Until now. Ivy is an anomaly—she is the only person who has ever walked away from a demon kiss alive. Her survival gives her unique and deadly abilities. Too powerful to ignore, Ivy is a threat to both armies. These two ancient enemies will stop at nothing to kill the seventeen-year-old. Surviving is nothing new for headstrong Ivy, but her survival has never depended on another person before. This time it does. And if she misplaces her trust, she’s dead. To her horror, she starts falling in love at the worst possible time—with the enemy. He appears to be protecting her. But she can’t be certain if he is trying to help her, or help himself to her power. For Ivy, trusting the right person is the difference between love and survival, or a deadly demon kiss.

    Hi Holly,
Demon Kissed sounds like a great story.
i am probably going to go out and buy it when the book gets published.
i read tips for young writers.
i thought it was very helpful.
i have half a binder full of writing.
    though it’s only idea’s.
and they change so much that i can never pick only one to write about.
it’s just what i want my main girl to look like.
    some of the plot.
    and more.
your probably really busy so i’m going to go
i just dropped in to say i liked your book

    heyy, Holly
I had a dream that inspired me to write a book but i havn’t gotten very far because i don’t know how i want my charactars to look I always look into writing tips from the authors of my favorite books and your first chapter spiked my intrest quick.
i have lots of charatar that i can see in my head and can’t seem to get it write on paper I was seeking advise on how to shape the charactars into how readers can easily visualize them
*btw. you r now one of my favorite authors 🙂

    • thanks! u r awesome!

to convert a dream to paper, you need to visualize your character. figure out exactly what they look like down the smallest detail – the shape of her face, her voice, how she walks, etc. they need to be “alive” in your mind – like they are a real person. then you’ll have a better grip on how to describe the character to other people. 🙂

Third, I am a young writer who loves to write for passion and self expression *like you
Fourth , I want to notify that not all fiction is fake *because with open eyes you can see
Fifth ,Believe in the books they will make light for even the most darkest place
